Have attended several times over the years from out of town while visiting our daughter’s family. Have been always been warmly welcomed and deeply blessed by the fellowship. The excellent exposition of the Scriptures has been consistently Christ exalting and God honoring and we’ve enjoyed hearing from many different pastors during those several visits. Just as importantly, they’ve ministered to our daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren with heart moving love and tenderness. If we ever relocated to the Birmingham area, there’s no question where we’d want to be co-joined to the Great Commission adventure. Could not recommend it any more enthusiastically. This is the first time I attended any Bible study CFC offered. I was looking for Christian fellowship and was granted the privelege of participating in one of their Wednesday evening "Growth Groups." Visitors may be permitted to attend these groups by invitation, but these meetings are normally reserved for members only. Sunday formal worship is open to everyone. The meeting was held at their church building. The building is a former Salvation Army store/facility which they are currently renovating and it is beautiful. I was told these groups were normally held in various homes and cover different topics. The one I attended carefully reviewed the Pastor's message which had been preached the previous Lord's Day (chapter in Acts). The Elder who presided over the meeting was very knowledgeable. He reflected a heart and mind concerned with reflecting the priorities of our Lord and Savior Jesus. The attendees were warm and friendly. The meeting was a blessing. Romans 11:36 Not impressed. The pastor wears the same pair of ratty old jeans every week. Enjoyed listening this morning, great worship and teaching Appreciate the welcome greeters and the friendly people 🙂
