My family and I have been attending First Church of the Nazarene for the past couple of years, and it has truly been an incredible experience. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed in a way that we hadn’t experienced at other churches—it genuinely feels like home. The sense of community here is something special. Everyone is kind, inviting, and truly cares about one another. My children especially love coming each week. They’ve built great relationships and are always excited to learn more about our Savior, Christ. The children’s Sunday school teachers deserve a special mention—they are absolutely wonderful. Their dedication, patience, and love for the kids really shine through, and it makes such a difference. We are so grateful to have found a church where our whole family feels connected, supported, and encouraged in our faith. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming church home! First Church has been our church home for almost 2 years. We came for their Fourth of July celebration and were so impressed. We came back the next Sunday. We had been praying and looking for a church home for quite awhile. First Church was the answer to that prayer. This church is warm and welcoming. They have become our family. It is theologically sound, and has equipped us for a life of service. It has provided us with a place to serve and make a difference. It is small, but it’s outreach is huge. We invite you to come and see for yourself! Wonderful spirit of worship. Great location meaningful experience and a place to grow closer to God. I attended a number of years ago. If you're weren't a degreed, at least semi-wealthy person, you were unique there. I hope that changed. I once heard that the original congregation moved to that location to avoid being "multi-cultural." It was hard to believe. It's kind of suspicious that a church holding so much real estate only has one blurry picture of the actual church on Google. What a blessed church full of precious people. We visited while living in the area for a few months and felt instantly at home.
