I had a really nice time here, and it felt like a good value for the money. The trails gave me more than I expected, with a mix of easy walking and a few steeper spots that kept it interesting. The overlook was worth the trip, especially for the views. Everything felt peaceful and well kept, and the parking fee seemed fair for what you get. I’d definitely come back when I want a solid outdoor break without spending much. The staff and service leaders made the visit feel organized and easy from the start. I attended the Loft service, and the message was clear, thoughtful, and easy to follow. And the people I interacted with were friendly without making it feel forced. Overall, it felt like a welcoming church with a good sense of community. My great-great uncle, Dr. Tom Slaughter helped establish this church. He would be appalled at what it has become. I don’t see that this church can offer people any more than a thousand secular organizations could offer just as well or perhaps even better. Shallow and lack of theological substance. Mother God? We are all grownups and know that God is neither male nor female, but Jesus called Him “Father.” It’s not wise to tell Jesus, “let me correct how you reference God.” Seems like a really nice church. I was only here for a funeral so I can't comment on the regular Sunday worship service. The pastor seemed very nice and well spoken. I was very disappointed when I attended this church. Being a gay man and always dealing with being accepted I definitely didn't feel welcome here. Only one person spoke to me and that was the pastor that was there when I attended. They have a "welcome team" not one spoke and welcomed me. This is sad for our community
