We really enjoyed the service at this church on Easter Sunday 2026. I would recommend that the staff provide guidance through the website or social media page(s) on how to reserve seating in the sanctuary. Our family (of 6) was not aware of this requirement, and we were redirected to an overflow building across the street in front of other members of the congregation, although we were 10 minutes early for the service starting time. I would consider allowing guests in the church during services that are full, and allowing your staff and/or congregation to participate in attendance in the overflow service across the street. The message, testament, and word(s) that were shared during this service were invaluable, our family is very grateful to have been in attendance while visiting Birmingham from out of town. We are so thankful to have found Redeemer. Genuine Christian family where you can be real with your struggles and find encouragement. God’s word is so clearly taught here. Our faith is stronger and we are finding soul nourishing healing from our past. A work in progress. I pray God continues to bless this church family and guide our Pastors. Great service today This church believes the Bible, preaches it, lives it, and fosters true discipleship. The gospel is central in the life of this group of believers, and love abounds. The members here don’t believe they’re good because they do good things; they know they’re sinners counted as righteous because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This attitude enables them to be a huge blessing to the city they live in. Solid, Biblical teaching. Fun, hipster sort of music. Casual, come-as-you-are dress. Strong desire to serve and love the city. I was a member here for a year or two until I got married and moved to my wife's church since she had deep roots there. I was definitely blessed by Redeemer, especially the depth of the teaching.
