I really wanted to like this church and gave it two attempts. It’s really hard to rate a sermon that starts at 11:30, an hour and a half after arriving and the service is supposed to begin. Both times I went they had zero consideration for time and rambled through passages, the pastor stayed on topic, just hammered the dead horse until it was seriously painful to listen. I think the pastor could really use a class on effective public speaking. I noticed here that a lot of people seemed to know each other and they have a good strong community, which is why I gave it an extra star. That was nice to see people were talking during the worship at the beginning, not necessarily focusing on the songs. My grandbaby was baptized on Sunday. This church is very organized and staff very friendly and accommodating. I love how they used testimonies intertwined into the baptismal service. My daughter enjoyed how contemporary the service was and asked me to come back to hear the Pastor preach. We had to leave right as he was getting ready to preach. I was surprised they did not put up a QR code or list cash app, zelle, vendors or PayPal as a mean to collect tithes and or an offering. Amazing Church! Took 5 months to find my home church and I found it in The Rock! Not just the Primary Pastor, but ALL the staff I have met and gotten to know have been wonderful people and examples of Christ Jesus! My faith and walk with Jesus has grown leaps and bounds! (As long as you put in the work) Thank you God for leading me to this Church ⛪️! Do not recommend visiting this church. Had high hopes for my visit and expected that with the founding pastor speaking, I would walk away with something. Unfortunately, a lot of the message was him making strange jokes and misinterpreting scriptures. Definitely do not plan to return. Wonder church I love it. but I do not recommend sending your baby to the child care my baby is 6 months she drinks 6oz bottles and they fed her 2 bottles within one hour because she was crying and she had to go to the hospital the way she was throwing up afterwards and haven’t had a wet diaper since. If they don’t know what they doing or know how to handle babies yall need to find someone else to work there. Thank you.
