What visitors say
There’s just some weird vibes I got from this place. First off you’re greeted by a fully uniformed Benton county sheriffs officer who if anybody who’s lived here long enough knows of their perpetual civil rights violations as well as their cooperation with ICE. It was not a welcome I would expect from a church especially with the large immigrant population as ours. Second, the pastor was as cold and aloof of a person I’ve ever met. There were some nice people I met on staff but overall the place just gave me the ick. Just another “church” that adds nothing to the pantheon of self-serving, self-righteous churches in America today. It did well in helping me deconstruct my faith, though. Perhaps if we had more churches like this there would be far fewer christians. Love our church! The community is super loving and giving Spirit filled church just like the body of Christ should be. Wonderful pastor and leadership pastors! Great kids ministry! Huge gym for the older kids to run out their energies in. Very welcoming volunteers! None judgmental church home! Highly recommend this body of Christ! New Heights was so inviting to us when we first visited 2 years ago. Now we feel like we have been there forever and it is our "home"! The teaching pastors are so authentic and teach from the Bible, which is so refreshing. Our community group is like an extension of our family. You can truly feel God and his Holy Spirit move in this church! My husband and are from this area and were seeking to find a new home church. We came to New Heights Bentonville for the verse-by-verse teaching through the Bible but found much more than that! We found a great community of believers, a body that prays together and seeks the Lord together. We found a Church that pours goodness and fruitfulness into the community for Jesus. And since we meet in the cafeteria in an elementary school, we get to bless the school staff with an upcoming breakfast and provide school supplies for the students. I am so glad God brought us to New Heights Bentonville!
