Best church I've ever had the privilege to attend. Family friendly, you see all ages represented in the body, strong community, strong missions, strong support structure, and most importantly they preach the Word of God without compromise. Listed on 9marks.org with associations and graduates from Masters Seminary, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Association of Biblical Counselors (ACBC). I’ve been attending this church for about 5 years after a relocation. They present and uphold a cross-centered, Jesus-centered gospel. Leadership is comprised of *biblical* officers: qualified and appointed by the church. This is essential for a church to stay on God’s track – as opposed to going off the rails into either legalism or an “anything goes” approach. Both of these errors are equally detrimental to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and church health, in my opinion. The preaching has helped me really understand scripture, verse by verse. More specifically, the pastor will go through a whole book of the bible, verse by verse, over the course of several months. It has really helped a imperfect person like me, who didn’t grow up in a bible-believing church. I have so much to learn! I have been grateful to church leadership and my care group leaders for meeting where I am. When I don’t understand something or need help, I have been approached with mercy, respect, and inspiring humility. I really don’t deserve the treatment I’ve been given, so it is humbling to have “spiritual giants” approach me with such humanity. They aren’t perfect, but I hope that I get an opportunity to extend them the grace and mercy they’ve extended to me. They adhere to biblical ordinances: believer’s Baptist and The Lord’s Supper. The church community is tight-knit and has opportunities to gather throughout the week: two women’s bible studies, men’s bible study, mid-week service for youth, youth outings, and the list goes on. The congregation is comprised of a variety of people who strive not to judge upon minor lifestyle choices. For example, there are homeschool families, public school families, singles, couples, college-age adults, etc. From what I have experienced, people try not to judge people on these minor life choices. There is the full range of ages, abilities, etc represented in the body. God tells us to welcome all nations! There is a focus on biblical counseling, meeting individuals where they are and encouraging them to improve their lives through Christ’s strength. The counselors go through extensive training and education to become certified. The music is fantastic – both biblically-based and rich in presentation. If you are looking for a rock-concert church with smoke, fancy lights, etc, this isn’t it. The POWER behind the music comes carefully selected songs that are rooted in scripture. The presentation of the music is fantastic as well. They have a Christmas concert mid-December that is phenomenal. Make sure you arrive early as it fills up quickly! Come join us for encouraging worship and a welcoming community, based on the divinely revealed Truth of Christ in scripture. Listen to the words of Keith Howell and Abby Hall. There is no Biblical counseling for reconciliation of marriage unless it’s with this church??? I have to talk to my wife through a guy at the church??? Hmmm. As a family this has been the best church we have attended. Sound Doctrine, feels like family, amazing care groups, beautiful service not for attention but to the Glory of God. Multi age, good biblical counseling, men and women bible studied as well as good teaching for the youth. Expository preaching and humble leaders. Faithful Bible teaching to men, women, youth, and children. The pastors, elders, and deacons serve with kindness and humility. This body of believers loves and serves and truly cares for the needs of the church members, and the community!
