This church is more like family. I came here for the first time and as soon as I entered the door I felt welcome and like I fit in. They are a family loved church that welcomes anybody. They are truly God's children and people here. I felt blessed coming here. I felt the spirit in here My autistic child was tortured at this school. The principal was his teacher. She let him go an entire school day with a broken arm, crying, and made him carry his back pack. We took him to the ER immediately after school that day and his arm was indeed broken. I wish that was the only issue that we had, but sadly, it wasn’t. Her confessions were more of a Baptist than a Lutheran and she taught in that manner. The worst experience we ever had in all of education. Lifetime trauma from this school! We are happy that we put our son at Christ Little Rock school. They are always so attentive to him and he learns so much every day. The teachers and staff are wonderful! Attended church while visiting Little Rock. Enjoyed the 10:30 service. Pastor and members were very nice and welcoming. Music was wonderful! Pastor's sermon was very easy to follow and quite up lifting. The CLR early childhood staff make communication with parents a big priority and are very loving toward my child. They always make time to address my concerns and answer my questions. They seem to be good at avoiding complacency and pursuing positive change. Even though visibility into the classroom has been restricted due to DHS covid regulations, they partner closely with parents to still form relationships and reassure you that your child is in good hands. There has been staff turnover in our time there but, from an outside perspective, the working conditions seem to be positive.
