Rejuvenating, inspiring, fulfilling! Good humans who Love God, helping other humans navigate this chaotic world. No hoops, no pressure. If looking for a church home, or a spiritual reset- THIS IS THE PLACE! A pretty welcoming church. I enjoyed the service as well as attending a Sunday School. Pastor Shawn, in the midst of his busy schedule took time to let me settle during my first visit and even sat down in our table during lunch. I always understand that Pastors are so overwhelmed and tired after the service, but he spared his precious time with us. I think this church is great, especially if you're looking for an opportunity to serve and of course to grow spiritually in a place where you feel you are just like with a "family." I was born, baptized, and married in this Church, then we moved and I attended other Churches. when we moved back to Rogers, I returned to my Home Church and it always makes me feel at home. This Church loves everyone and accepts everyone. We are all God's Children and this Church shows this in so many ways. I also love our Grey Matters Sunday class that has a group of wonderful people that are always there for each other. FCC (DOC) is one of the very best churches I have ever been a member of. I felt loved and appreciated from the very first day I attended. We welcome all. We have a great pastor who is always looking for ways we can help others. Our Associate pastor is our youth minister. The youth just returned from a mission trip where they spent a week helping a town rebuild after a tornado. Our choir just got a new music director who is an essential part of our worship team. Our G.R.U.B. program and U.SD.A. programs serve food packages to some three hundred or more families each month. We have Sunday School classes for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest. After visiting 3-4 other churches, we saw a big difference in First Christian Church of Rogers. On our first visit, we were welcomed and greeted by not only the pastors, but by many of the members.
