Do you unfollow people from your instagram account because of what? Because you haven’t received a big money donation or because we are Hispanic? Thank you for showing me I was trying to find my path in God by going to your church. The only time we were welcomed with a smile was the first day we went. (A really nice lady was welcoming people at the entrance) after that we were just a family that didn’t exist there. If I could give -5 stars, I would. I attended Compassion with my family for almost 5 years but left not too long ago. This place is horrible and will ruin church for you and possibly even your faith, as it has mine. They only care about money and aesthetics. The Pastor's wife is extremely rude and doesn't care about anybody but herself, her kids, and her own little circle. She's very much into her looks and posts about her lavish life on Facebook, all while asking the church for more money constantly. Plus if you confide in them about things, she will post it on Facebook and play the victim as if she's in junior high. They take absolutely no accountability for their actions, even when they know it hurts people. But if you're not rich, pretty, or in their clique, you don't matter and they won't make actual time for you. And they treat their staff horribly. Also, if you have children with disabilities, you will be told to find another church and that they're too distracting, when people with special needs are literally some of God's most precious gifts. They have no heart at all for those with special needs. I'm super sad writing this and I was a little bit hesitant to leave this review, as we loved Compassion and all of the people for a long time. But my heart has kept telling me to leave this review to warn others.. I will always pray for Pastor Myron and Julie, that they have a real spiritual awakening, because they will have to answer to someone much higher one day, and that's on their hearts. 🙏🏼 I've been looking for a church that focuses on the teachings of the Bible. I immediately felt welcomed and noticed. The entire staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. I was able to be baptized the first time I attended. They offered coffee and breakfast, I don't think that's every Sunday, but it was a nice addition. They gave me clothes to be baptized in and I got to keep the shirt. The lead pastor and his wife (the executive ministry director) came out to greet everyone after the service and made a point to thank me for coming and congratulate me on getting baptized. I am excited to go back this Sunday. I love it because of their own music playing 3 songs then tell the stories about out there to get involved. I visited on 7/16/23 It's a small family church. The people were standoffish, other churches I've visited the people greet you like a long lost family member finally coming home. I just didn't feel that here. The first service at 9 a.m. was going on so I waited in the lobby filled out a welcome card and a greeter took it from me. After first service I went into the church and waited until next service began at 10:30. Some people smiled at me but no one approached me and made me feel welcomed. I was there for the word of God , in which the Lord spoke to me by the awesome preaching from a visiting pastor. Overall the church is Nice and pleasant
