Loved my old church, as we moved too far away to attend anymore. I was a volunteer in the toddler room. This church does what Jesus teaches us in the Bible. They help the surrounding communities and when I joined, they had only 3 campuses. Now they have at least 6 and that tells you people love their work and the message of the Bible that they end up joining and they needed to expand. I miss Cal Jurnigan’s preaching and love the way they serve the community around them. We attended this church twice as we were in the area for a month’s vacation. There were several greeters along the way to the auditorium who were all friendly and gracious. We enjoyed the worship very much - we could hear the congregation around us singing which is rare these days in contemporary worship settings. We were surprised the sermon was by video however, you could tell this pastor was connected to this campus and it felt very personal, as if he was in the room. We were blessed by the worship and the sermon and the many ministries this church has weekly. If we were in the neighbourhood longer, we wouldn’t hesitate to make this our church our home and get involved in its weekly programs. Thank you, Central for being a blessing! God bless you in all your endeavours in the community and abroad. (PS in reading reviews of other churches, people take note of the air conditioning - the a/c at Central was very comfortable, we were not frozen out and no sweater needed 😎) I applied at this church for financial assistance. I received a phone call today the lady asked me two questions then told me they can’t help me. I asked her why and she replied they just can’t help me financially. I lost my job on the 8th of this month. I missed too many days due to the growth I have in my left leg. If you gonna deny someone assistance that’s already at rock bottom the least you can do is provide some type of explanation. So Christian like Awesome church. The pastor, Cal, is extremely humble but is not afraid of standing behind God's word in a loving way. This place is not for the religious but for one who wants to follow Jesus. The cafeteria is large and serves a good variety of hot and cold drinks as well as bagels and sandwiches. They serve peet coffee which is a good brand of coffee. Best church ever! We decided to try this church out 12 years ago and it immediately became the church we wanted to raise our kids at, 3 kids later and we still call central home. My week can’t truly begin until we hear the amazing messages every weekend. I love the community we have built and the village we have to help us raise our boys up in Gods love. Don’t be intimidated by the size of the church, there is a network here for all people!
