Having lived many years, I’ve moved a few times in my life. Each time it has its own unique challenges. One being finding a church that fits my Christian beliefs. Raised Catholic, my obvious go to would be a Catholic Church. Not having that option near by I search for a Christian church and go from there. Easter eve my family and I attended service at Copper Hills Church, it feels a bit like a school auditorium, but many new churches have a pop up feel these days and grow into something. However it was hard to get past any of those feeling when the man who was speaking was going on and on about it being hard for people to believe that Jesus rose from the dead. Somehow he went off on a tangent about him in a speedo! I know right!! Here it was the time of year when Christians all over the world were celebrating the renewal of faith and this guy turned it into him in a speedo! Needless to say that isn’t the church for me. Should you go I pray they have that person removed or at least educated. Before moving here I pastored a church in LA for forty years and had a hard time finding a church in the area. I could say a lot, but I'll limit it to, "Copper Hills is a very good church, under solid leadership, and a loving community." I love this church! I would love it even if it wasn't a block away from my home. But that's an important part of it. This church is in my community and this church loves my community the same way I do. I have spent so many great times here over the years, and not only just on Sundays and holidays. Sometimes its a stroll in the cool evenings through the breezeway, or an early morning coffee at The Well Coffee Co. If you are looking for a great place to be part of something, this is it. This place is amazing. Very welcoming and family friendly. Love Brad and Matt. Also The Well is a bonus! God bless. Peoria Florist has had excellent experiences delivering to Copper Hills Church and the Copper Hills Center for the Arts. The campus is easy to access with plenty of parking, and the facilities are clean and well-organized. Staff and volunteers are friendly, communicative, and helpful—making floral drop-offs for services, performances, weddings, and memorials smooth every time. Pro tip: on your way in or out, stop by Well Coffee Co. on campus for a great pick-me-up. A caring, community-minded partner and a pleasure to work with!
