What visitors say
I went to ccv midtown to get baptized. Something I think that should be a very special experience. There was 2 of us getting baptized. Myself and my friend. The pastor didn't even look at me or wait for me to answer the questions? Our other friend recorded it and even brought it up afterwards, wondering what that was all about. It was very impersonal and strange and felt like a "drive through" baptism. I'm kind of sad about it! I give it 3 stars though because there were 2 very nice ladies there that showed us around. A place where you feel welcomed, loved and the love of Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit. A great biblical teaching straight from the scriptures led by God. An amazing church. Pastor John and the Midtown Staff team are reaching the valley for Christ. An excellent staff. Application based sermons. Great worship and great Christ centered community. The Doorkeepers Of His Kingdom are great LoL Worship team is anointed , so theres no reason that building shouldnt be louder than a basebal game . I was welcomed without judgement and nothing but love & kindness . Given a warm breakfast burrito and coffee and they even reach out to invite me back. The world is falling but God will carry us through.
