A church that preaches the gospel and cares for its community. We've been attending for a little over a year, and we've loved it since the first Sunday we visited. The church staff and congregation truly care about you. This has been a place of rest for me and my family. There are a lot of positive words to describe Desert City, but "authentic" may be the one that best describes it for me. There's no show or big production, just authentic believers who love Jesus and are living out their faith. The music and preaching are excellent. They have amazing kids and youth programs and our kids were immediately plugged in. I would highly recommend a visit, whether you grew up in the church or have never stepped inside one! My wife and I started attending back in September after moving to Phoenix. We told ourselves we'd try a handful of churches with Desert City being the first one we'd visit. We are SO glad that God led us to this church and community. We've felt welcomed and a part of the community from the first week we attended. We're in our mid twenties with no kids yet, which is usually a tough age range to find a church, but we've found a place that is truly for every generation and walk of life. The bible is read from every service and DCC does a great job keeping things simple and sacred. We are so grateful to have found this church and I hope that this review can help anyone who may be interested in attending. Our first time here. Very friendly and not just staff. Enjoyed the message and worship time. Music wasn't loud or flashy, as has been our experience at other places of worship. Definitely Christ centered in all the aspects we experienced. Long time friends had invited us and glad they did. My husband and I started going to Desert City in May. We have loved the sermons and the community of people. Every Sunday it is a consistent welcoming and peaceful experience. Desert City Church is an amazing place to worship God and study the Scriptures. The Pastoral leadership makes the Word of God come to life. They witness to the power and love of Christ in our lives. The Blessings I receive here are comforting and encouraging..
