Genesis Genesis is a church that truly lives out the Gospel in both word and action. Their teaching is firmly rooted in the belief that God, in His love, sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. They proclaim that Jesus is fully God and fully man, and that by His grace we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit who equips us to walk in faith and obedience. The community at Genesis is welcoming, uplifting, and intentional about creating an environment where people can grow closer to God and to one another. The messages are biblically sound, the worship is Christ-centered, and the fellowship reflects the love of Christ. I am thankful for the way this church stays true to the Word of God and points everything back to Jesus. Great Christmas party today, courtesy of Salvation Army and Alice Cooper! My brother and sister in law invited me to come with them several years ago and we have been going on and off over the years. I used to go to Cornerstone & Calvary Chapel but after moving a few times, lost my “home church” and haven’t really found a new one to call home yet. I do like the small church setting which I grew up with so it feels very comfortable and all the people are friendly and genuine. It’s a casual church…you can wear what you feel like wearing and don’t have to feel like you are over or under dressed. And I love that you can show up when church is just starting and still find a parking spot because I have 3 kids so this is huge (it’s the little things 😁). The candle lit Christmas Eve service was beautiful…actually made me cry during worship feeling the Holy Spirit’s presence. A great small, neighborhood church. Looking for a down to earth church? This place has 1 dress code rule, wear some clothes. Very friendly and welcoming. Full band, no boring choir. See Paula for the best hugs! I love it here! I've been coming since I moved here 3 years ago. Everyone is so kind and I get so much from the words I'm needing to hear practically ever visit. Both Ryan & Joe are awesome! If you haven't been to a service and you're looking for a welcoming place to come to, this is the spot!!! I look forward to the next service😊
