What visitors say
Great Wednesday night service. It was singing night and song leaders were great. Nice to know their are others thousands of miles away trying to serve the Lord. Was encouraged by my visit. The Monte Vista church of Christ is a family of believers who meets regularly to worship God and encourage each other. Our membership is diverse and we welcome people from all backgrounds. We have people from different age groups, from different ethnicities and from different social-economic backgrounds. By shedding ourselves of our differences and uniting ourselves in the purposes of God, we believe that we can be unified as God’s people. We have no allegiance to any religious body except that of Christ’s. We are not governed by any outside organization. Following Biblical example, we are responsible for our own worship and work, striving for the unity of believers and looking to Biblical examples for our church practices. Hence, we seek to worship God in the same manner as the early New Testament churches, teaching as they taught and being what they were -- followers of Christ committed to bringing His truth to the world. It is our sincere hope that you will come and worship with us again. We believe that you will find our practices consistent with the Bible and trust that you will find our church family a place where you are welcome and truly feel at home. In Christian Love, Jason Amalong, elder Very nice Church and very kind and loving people ... alot of toddlers in service though because they don't have an actual nursery where you have someone to watch over the kids although they do have a room for you and your baby if kids get fussy during the sermon Just visited for the day but so welcoming and an amazing sermon on death and how Christians have hope and Heaven waiting Wonderful place to worship our Lord. People are so friendly and welcoming.
