Today was my second time attending this church. I found it after searching for an open and affirming church online . I have had too many really bad experiences at multiple churches. This church is the definition of the love Jesus Christ. After service today I stayed for a pot luck and met so many wonderful people in the congregation. I have NEVER felt as welcomed and accepted as I did today. I want to thank the many true Christians that attend this church for making me feel like I truly belong somewhere. Reverend Boseker, through his in your face love, acceptance, and inclusion of the LGBTQIA community, drew me to this AMAZING church!!! I’m so glad that I decided to attend, and can’t wait to keep coming back and making this my church home! If you love Jesus and haven’t been able to find a safe place to worship Him, because of the fear that has been instilled in you, please come and find out what true love and acceptance is. Because so many churches don’t love and accept you, because they just judge you and push you away from the love of Jesus that is for ALL, I strongly urge you to check out this AMAZING church where you will find a true sense of community! The First Christian Church hosts monthly life saving blood drives. Their dedication to helping those in need is most appreciated. This church is very welcoming and is engaged in the community. The American Red Cross is grateful for our partnership. A church that really believes in helping the community with monthly food and blood drives, as well as many other events that serve others. Always friendly faces to greet you there if you join in person but online participation is also an option. So happy to be part of such a loving church family! When we moved to Scottsdale and checked out churches, First Christian Church made us feel so welcome and at home. The people are the best you could want in a church family. We love the outreach opportunities as joining a church with a lot of community service was important to us. Check it out! You will love it! First Christian Church Scottsdale is a mission church and they take that label seriously. It is such a pleasure to know that there will be projects that help others and you can be involved. There's many caring souls in this group. I really appreciate being with them.
