What visitors say

Our family has been attending Impact now for 6 years and despite having been to a number of other churches, this remains home. Yes they have a nice church where they make things comfortable but the what really matters is that you can truly FEEL God in this place. The praise and worship is phenomenal and the preaching covers everything; it is spirit filled. Sometimes it’s inspirational, other times it’s tough love. The point is, it’s all based on the word of God whether that makes us comfortable or uncomfortable. If you want a church that will both encourage and challenge you, this is the place for you. Thank you Pastor Travis for you and your entire team. You’ve certainly made an impact on our family and we look forward to growing as a part of your congregation. Here’s a more polished and informative version that keeps your experience and perspective clear without sounding unnecessarily harsh: I’m sharing this only as my personal opinion and in the hope that it may be helpful to others reading reviews. I recently moved to the area and was genuinely excited to attend this church while looking for a new church home. For me, attending church is about more than the quality of the music or the delivery of the sermon. It’s about feeling a sense of connection, community, and the presence of God and the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, I did not experience that here. The worship music was dominated by extremely loud bass, which I found distracting rather than uplifting. The message of the sermon itself was good, at least from what I was able to absorb, but the delivery felt overly dramatic and theatrical to me. At times, I felt more like I was watching a performance than participating in worship. I understand that many people may enjoy this style of church, and it may be exactly what they are looking for. For me, however, church is not about entertainment, image, or production value. I am looking for a genuine, heartfelt love for Jesus, authentic community, and a place where people come together as they are to experience and grow in their faith. Ultimately, I left feeling that the emphasis was more on presentation and production than the deeper spiritual connection I was hoping to find. Others may have a completely different experience, but this church was simply not the right fit for me. If you want, I can also make this **slightly stronger and more emotionally impactful** while still keeping it fair and credible for a public Google review. I visited this church while I was on a business trip and I'm glad I was recommended here. They have great worship music with lots of energy. The message was really good and straight forward. In a time that many pastors are scared to preach truth and biblical principles, it was refreshing to hear the message and feel the revival their helping to build. It was great to see so many young believers hungry for Jesus. I have attended Impact for about 3 years. I was scared to join another big church in Scottsdale. But the day I went to my first service is feel in love with this church. The children’s ministry do amazing work with my 2 grandchildren. They know my situation and have been so understanding and helpful. I have joined all the women’s Bible study and joined celebrate recovery. I have found my community and family in the church. Thank you Pastor Travis for always speaking to me in every service. Had my first visit and as beautiful as the church is, I'm looking to see if money is less of a priority and teaching the gospel is most important. This is the first time I've had my teens tell me their ears physically hurt from how loud the music is. I've never had to wear ear plugs before. Please, Lord, let this be a church that is evangelistic, mission minded, gospel teaching with alter calls for salvation, and teaches biblical principles. 🙏 That's all I want. The only thing I disagreed with so much is teaching about tithing. Tithing is old covenant and giving is New Covenant. Not to give by a certain percentage and to give according to what you can afford.
