We officially made Open Arms our church home in 2019. It is a community of faith driven people that we have real relationships with. They have supported us in growing our faith, and they have supported us through our good and bad life changes. The pastors are genuine and approachable. They teach God’s word, they teach the Bible. We have never left a Sunday without learning or gaining something about Jesus that betters our lives and that helps us to better others lives. The worship is infectious. The joy that you can feel in each song they perform, it is such a wonderful way to glorify God. The songs are also more contemporary and very uplifting. As a family with three children, I love that they have an intentional space for each age range. My kids enjoy their services and they are each reached at their own level from nursery age to middle school. I love how much they enjoy being at this church. Because of their different forms of community outreach, Open Arms has always been a part of my life. They are a church that truly cares about their neighbors/community and finds many ways to show it. So glad we took that first step in, because we’ll never step back out. Attending our local church has been a life changing experience for me and my family. The sense of community here is incredible, with a focus on building strong, supportive relationships that truly feel like family. They have a great men's group, where I've found a group of like-minded individuals who are committed to growing together in faith and supporting each other through life’s challenges. It’s more than just a place of worship—it’s a home where everyone is welcomed and valued. This church lives up to their name! The most welcoming church I’ve ever been to. The church people are from all walks of life, but still small and intimate to form Godly relationships - the opposite of a mega church. Open Arms is truly a church about the local community. Everyone is welcome. They partnered with local schools with a food pantry for several years and a yearly school supply drive. The weekly men's Bible study is a great opportunity to connect with other men and share the word God. They also have a women's weekly Bible study. They have a children's ministry and middle school/high school youth group. There are many opportunities to help serve within the church as well. I'm grateful to call it my church. Great church, friendly people, excellent worship music and solid Bible teaching! Pastor Scott Stevenson is very caring,and a great speaker too! Been going almost 2 years now,and also involved in Tuesday night men's Bible study too!
