What a wonderful church! They have been so warm and inviting. So much so that since I started coming , I haven’t stopped. I encourage you if you’re on the fence, to come worship with us😇 I was Trespassed January 11th 2026. Call them or Tempe Police to ask why.... No violence. No obscenities. No threats. My son was excluded from Kid City in 3rd grade - 2022. After he spent a few years in the Extra Ordinary Blessings class. I was hit in the face while working in 2019 without aid rendered. A pastor was on campus but did not stay to help. I sang in choir August 2018 until Christmas 2025, I asked countless times in the rehearsals leading up to the evening and very politely for a seat that would suit my abilities. I ended up far behind many large men and could not see our conductor. My trumpet that my grandmother gifted me when I attended Connolly Middle School is left stuck on campus and my Bible, without me being given opportunity to take them with. January 11th 2026- was aweful, I cant imagine what my son felt when he was asked to leave. My sons bible was lost there too around the time he was excluded. This Church is nice with good people there. But they are struggling. We've been going there for quite a while. The new pastor they got just doesn't quite do it for me. He constantly talks about his kids. Every sermon is either about his kids or about when he was a kid. His stories are really irrelevant. The christmas sermon was about his driving in traffick and road ragging probably on the way to disney land again. The music in the church is also struggling they have good musicians but the vibe that you get from them doesn't inspire the movement or energy of Jesus Christ. It all seems a bit depressing. Bless them for having the heart, courage and want to do what they do but they need some good direction. Another aspect I find a little frustrating is the offerings. It's really difficult to make offerings the old fashioned way. At this day and age a simple QR code put on the projector during the offerings will help tremendously. I know this church does a lot of good for the community with free food service and teachings/schooling during the week but their Sunday services needs a resurrection. My name is David sidabras My mom and I have always attended this church i ma I have made a couple sins but she deserves to have a memorial but since she (hasn't attended there in a few years they say no my mother would be ashamed of this church she thought better of them after this I would never consider having anything there they are not full of christ the christ I was raised with was a forgiver and very loving they obviously are not I am ashamed that I ever considered this church as family I discovered this church about 7 years ago. I had tried a few other ones when I first moved to Arizona. From the moment I walked into the door, I felt welcomed! It is truly a family. The personal experience of this place does not get lost in the size of it's congregation. Their gentleness and focus on Christ is inspiring and comforting. The senior Pastor, Roger Ball has wonderful sermons that connect with out daily lives. They have a full choir and orchestra that is kind of hard to find these days and the worship Pastor Phillip, I cannot say enough about his colorful and engaging spirit. He loves the Lord and it shows in his songs and praises during worship. They have a wonderful youth program. Kid City is broken down by age and grade for the 0-12 years old children including a nursery as well as an amazing teen program. The youth pastors are young and really connect with the teens. They thoroughly seem to understand what the youth of today faces with social media and peer pressure. Their message of love and kindness and living "Christ like" is gentle but powerful. I highly recommend coming here to get a feel for it.
