We have been attending ECC for about a year and a half and I have never felt more at home at a church. The congregation is small and welcoming with a wonderful youth group (surprisingly large amount of kids attend ECC). The services are changed up weekly, not just a sermon each week, so that you feel more involved and learn from one another. Even my kids look forward to the service each week! And there's awesome fellowship after the service with great snacks to get to know one another. Extremely welcoming. My first time there I had so many people welcome me and treat me like part of their family. At the end of the service there is always food and drinks for you to enjoy while you mingle. They do their best to make sure there is something for everyone. The facility is always clean, and they recently painted and updated the look. I would definitely recommend this church's it's a fantastic atmosphere. After looking for a church to feel welcome and safe to wrestle with faith and religion this small community of wonderful humans has embraced our family and created a safe space. I drive from all the way across town to attend this surprisingly progressive (for the Eastside), but still very true to the Bible church home. Christ centered worship with a variety of service styles. Traditional to volunteer discussions and reflection with praise and hymns to ground us. Multigenerational loving caring congregation. After being part of a large church it's nice to be part of a family. ECC is like a family of people sharing a belief in Christ and doing our best to live that belief. And by family we have people as young as two and as old as 90 joining us in worship and while we are small we share Jesus love to our community.
