What visitors say

Journey is extremely welcoming. We've only been for a few months, but they have been great. Its the most family friendly church I've ever been too. Plus, very welcoming for those with disabilities. We plan to continue and get even more involved. Exceptional church and teachings. I love their added discipleship and classes they offer. Recently, they offered “How we love” classes for marriage, friendship and especially how we love God. How people love in general public also displayed by our own intentional living. My favorite was dealing with child hood triggers! (Painful wasn’t fun, but outcome was the best) Pastor Jim and Stacey (husband and wife) were vulnerable to show real life situations with using their transparency of their own marriage, attachments of their true child hood traumas that trigger when in life causes those triggers. I can’t imagine a better place and people to create this trust circle to be vulnerable with, to create a “comfort circle” to heal. So now we can go home and do that with those we love. Last night was our last class, and I felt more free than I have ever felt. Weight lifted (had to check the scale thought I lost 50 pounds) yet the weight was in my mind and heart for too long. To be free is literally that, free the pain. Thanks Jim and Stacy. Incredible class! May more people be blessed to come from these teachings! The pastor was legit cool. "Armor of God all day homie!!" Roman Royal Red Tunic...Great sermon... We have been looking for a church home when after attending a few other, we found Journey. I looked up their services and listened to a sermon. We went to their Mothers day service. Our son was welcomed in their very large and nice children's care. The ministries just for the children are huge. Small groups, groups for everyone. I could see getting connected really easy but let's get thru the 1st service. Since it was mothers day, the service was different but perfect. It was more about the celebration outside. Catering, water slides for the kids, games everywhere, food, people, food trucks. For free to my surprise. We felt already like part of the family. We have been back for the past few months and find their doctrine is all about Jesus and the Word. We have invited friends and neighbors. Everyone is welcome here. All abilities. Not impressed with this Minister since the last time I attended... Noticed that most of the Black people / who are who are primarily Africans we're seated in the back of the church... None in the choir... No acknowledgment from the minister for any visitors that were there ..only greeting I received was was from the person at the door.. and someone sitting next to me and that was it...
