What visitors say

I first visited The Bridge East Years ago. I saw the advertisements and was drawn to the Bible-based teaching and practical Christian life ministries. Although I was raised in church and a Christian most of my life, This was during a time in my life where there was a lot of upheaval. I began attending The Bridge and another large church simultaneously. What stood out to me was how the church family reached out to me in a very genuine and non-superficial way. I was able to relate to their real life experiences in contrast to the other church I had been attending where I could walk in and walk out unnoticed. Since this time, my life has drastically changed for the better. Even though I have been a Christian and served on ministerial staffs and in lay ministry for many years, I have found a home here in an opportunity to serve in a way that I hadn’t before. The Bible based teaching and ministry and accountability provides the environment I need to grow and flourish and make a difference with the kingdom of God during my time in my generation. Our free will allows us to choose what we believe. One need not work for NASA to understand what GOD says about LGBTQ beliefs. Romans 1:26-27: "For this reason God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error". And this example is just one of MANY. ANY church that has the courage to stand for what God's word clearly teaches is a church worth supporting. Again, it's very clear what God says vs. what "Man" says: Genesis 1:27 (NIV): "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Genesis 5:2 (ESV): "Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created." Mark 10:6 (NIV): "But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" Matthew 19:4 (NIV): "Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’" "Ephesians 5:31, New American Standard Bible,31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. Church makes their own music. Small family home church feel. Very welcoming and firm in their beliefs of the bible. This is a wonderful church to attend, where you will get the TRUTH, about what GOD tells us about life. They don't sugar coat everything to try and pull you in. They tell you exactly what God says about things, like, love the sinner, hate the sin. If you want a church that is just going to tell you all the good stuff, and leave out all the stuff we should stay away from, this isn't the church for you. Here you get the truth! If a church is telling you its not a sin to be a homosexual, then they are not telling you how GOD feels about that , because God is very clear about how he feels about that. Everyone is welcome here, but only what is in the Bible is taught here. I had such a blessing of following God’s lead to attend this church while I was working on the Reservation as a travel RN while in Tucson for my 13 week assignment. This became from church home and community from the first service I attended. It was bittersweet to leave to return home to West Texas because as much as I was excited to return home with family and my home church, I loved this community and why God was teaching me while being there on assignment. I learned so much as well by attending the Patriot Academy Classes. I will definitely return if I am back in town. I would love to be able to tune in via a podcast or online to still be able to be involved. Such a bonus to have all original music performed from this church during worship. Straight Bible teaching and truth with nothing held back here!
