This church has some major issues with its servers whatever you call them. Their attitude, manner and behaviors just rub the wrong way, as they don’t belong in a worshipping place. Maybe they need to change their religion. It’s not easy to be Catholic because the rules are very strict. If they cannot follow Canon laws maybe consider joining other Christian dominations where they can pick and choose the rules they like or open their own church to worship themselves. St. Columban is my hometown Church where I grew up going for over 30 years. Even if I moved I still come back and attend mass when i can on the weekends or special holidays mass. I come to Duc Me La Vang to pray and our family is blessed. I take my kids here to pray all the time. There is a new restroom and the church is always super clean. Gorgeous church and beautiful Christmas decorations. What the janitor giving the evil eye? Been a while since I turned to God. But as soon as I got there the Hispanic janitor giving me the evil stare like saying get out of here. 😠 He used to never be there. And it was a perfect adorable time to adore Jesus. So sad 😢 Horrible experience at the 7pm Vietnamese mass. The priest gave me two body of Christ. I didn’t realize this until I was halfway to my seat since I normally pray and do the sign of the cross as I’m walking away. Wasn’t sure if you can consume both or not, so I held onto one and planned to give it to the priest after. After mass I went up to him and gave him the extra I had. He looked at me like I stole it and freaked out. I told him he accidentally gave me two. He then scolded me and told me I should have given it back right away (there was no time, they had already started putting the body of christ away) or consumed both. I told him I didn’t know that I could do that, and he then continued to tell me I was in the wrong. Literally the worst experience ever and has honestly turned me off from this church and religion. Disgusting.
