What visitors say
St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church & Greek Festival is a truly exceptional community event. Nestled in a beautiful church adorned with intricate mosaic art of Mary and Jesus, this festival is a vibrant celebration of Greek culture. Rows of shops offer authentic clothing, jewelry, and crafts, while the food is a standout—from savory grilled meats and dolmas to decadent Greek desserts. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, with traditional Greek singing, guitar performances, and lively dance shows. Safety and accessibility are top priorities, with police presence ensuring a secure and organized environment, and designated parking for those with disabilities. This is more than a festival; it’s a rich, immersive experience that leaves a lasting impression on all who attend. We went to Greek Fest and had a great time. It’s well organized and the lines moved fast. The food was delicious! There’s parking and a shuttle to take you to the church. The wait was about 10 minutes. We will be back! Geek Festival ever is fun to enjoy Greek food, music, and shopping items. This is a beautiful Orthodox Christian Church with a wonderful and caring Christian community. I find it odd that people are evaluating the quality of a religious institution based on the price of a food item at a church fundraiser. That's pretty shameful. Regardless, I've had nothing but wonderful experiences here. I'm an Inquirer. But truly, ☦︎ Come and See!
