What visitors say

Been a member at this church for nearly 8 years! Community can be a little exclusive in the high school and college ministries, but I always loved the pastors and teachers growing up! Lifepoint (the adult ministry) on the hand is wonderful. Very friendly from the beginning to now :) Pastor James has also been an amazing speaker! Loved all his messages since EPIC ministry! If you are looking for a church, I'd recommend you try a visit I've been a member of this church for 13ish years. I started in the high school ministry back when Pastor James Myoung was leading it and was also a part of the college ministry in the last year with Pastor Scott Oh and then a year with Pastor Tom Taylor. Now I've been with lifepoint with my husband for about 3 good years. I think all the years leading up to the recent last two years I was able to find a good community of strong believers where we could uplift and speak God's truth into the lives of each other. People were so much more active back then with outreach, bible studies, hangouts outside church, etc. Unfortunately now, I can say it's not the same as what it used to be. Seems like a lot of the good pastors within the English speaking part of the church are leaving because of low pay or because of disagreements with the Korean congregational part of the church. As a whole, the church feels a lot more divided. Much of the members seem also very comfortable hanging out more with the people they know than willing to be around new members or those within the church they haven't gotten to get to know yet. Many are also very reluctant with excuses to why they can't come out to events, hangouts, lifegroups, volunteer, etc. I'm guilty of that sometimes as well. Lifepoint (the English adult ministry) preaches about being one body, but the community doesn't feel like one body. Anyone reading this, whether you were visiting or once came here and felt this way, you weren't alone in that feeling. I can only hope the community in this church changes for the better in the future. Very good church good for both Korean and English and very together especially in youth groups Great church full of holy people. Caring and do food donations Great church and amazing people. I really like this church
