I attended this church, one time, at the invitation of Scott, who often volunteers to work in the nursery. I met Scott at TriCity Park, where I spend a lot of time, and witnessed Scott speaking with two Mormon Deacons about The Word. Scott rides his bike at TriCity, daily, and mentioned he often interaxts with the Mormons to try and get them to understand Christianity. Over the course of two additional conversations, Scott invited me to his church, to see if I would find a good fit with the women's group, for social and spiritual support. I do not seek this support, but it was a nice gesture. Several weeks later, after having attended a sermon and completed due diligence on my own of the staff, I decided not to return. I find church stressful and not necessary to commune with Jesus. continued to see Scott in the park without incident, until August 20th, 2025, when he stopped me, THREE TIMES, interrupting me while walking and sitting, to BADGER ME with personal questions about my finances and insisted that he thought I needed his church and its support from the community. On the face of it, a conversation like this may seem caring, but let me be clear, Scott is a blood hound with a bone, and I have watched and been a victim of his constant badgering technique to PRESSURE people into attending his church. NOT A GODLY DRIVEN APPROACH...SATAN HAS HIS HOOKS IN THIS MAN AS ONE OF HIS VOMITING DOGS. Calvary Cmmunity itself is an average community church, preaching from mostly the ESV translation of The Word. It is a large enough church to have all kinds of members, but this type of unwarranted badgering is not good advertising. This is my church. When I walked in I new I belonged. We go through the Bible old and new testament. No preaching, Pastor Dave presents the Word of God completely nothing added or removed. Nice place nice church but I do like my church a lot better Best Bible teaching Bible believing church around. Solid biblical Bible teaching from the pulpit. Very wonderful place, and beautiful souls with smiles. I like coming here.
