What visitors say
I recently visited Christ Presbyterian church in Carlsbad Ca, and it was a wonderful experience. The sanctuary is absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful worship spaces I’ve seen in North County San Diego. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The community was friendly, inclusive, and made me feel right at home. What stood out most was their tagline: “A Place of Grace.” It truly reflects the heart of the church. If you’re looking for a welcoming church in Carlsbad with inspiring worship, a strong sense of community, and a beautiful campus, this is a place worth checking out. Lovely, welcoming church in a suburban neighborhood near a community garden. They offer both contemporary and traditional services, special holiday events, family and youth activities, groups for seniors, missions involvement, and other opportunities to get involved. For a smaller church, they really do a lot ! This church has the most loving, faithful, brilliant, and compassionate pastors I've ever encountered. They will help you expand your spiritual and human awareness through sharing their insight as well as being the authentic and caring people they are. It's not a megachurch so you'll be able to establish a true connection with the people who actively practice their faith. The children's ministry is excellent. Plus the choir and music director, being immensely talented, will probably touch your soul with their heavenly sound. I am not a Christian, but I attended a couple of services at this church because of my wife. What sets this church apart is not just its active engagement with the community but also the dynamic leadership of the pastor. The pastor also emphases events with fellow Muslims and Jews. His sermons are a blend of motivation, wisdom, and a refreshing sense of humor that resonates deeply with all who listen. It's a rare gift to deliver messages of faith that are both profound and accessible, yet the pastor does so with an ease that speaks volumes of his dedication and understanding of the human spirit. CPC is a warm and friendly church that is active in the local community. There are several fun-filled family friendly events throughout the year. The Pastor has a good sense of humor and his sermons are interesting. The congregation is committed to making a difference.
