A beautiful and peaceful church. Father Michael is a kind pastor like his homily. Great community I attended Easter Mass here for the first time in about 21 years. There were some genuinely beautiful parts of the experience, especially Communion, which was deeply meaningful to me. The church itself was welcoming enough, and I was able to have a real spiritual experience in spite of my concerns. Unfortunately, the priest’s message was deeply disappointing and spiritually troubling to me. He repeatedly emphasized identity, cumulative personal experience, and the idea that there is no real transformation, which to me completely misses the heart of resurrection. I also found the repeated emphasis on Satan, the devil, and prayers framed around first responders and “our troops” to feel more political and fear-based than Christ-centered or universal. For me, the message felt narrow, backward, and out of alignment with love, transformation, and the deeper spiritual truth Easter is supposed to represent. So while there was real beauty in the sacramental part of the Mass, the homily and overall framing left me disturbed rather than uplifted. Your mileage may vary. This Church has a reputation…Yes indeed! The most active church I have ever been a part of! The priest is literally a Holy Man… Father Michael heads his flock. Great group of MOSES men gather at 6:30 am Saturdays for coffee and doughnuts and study… what a wonderful group of humble men… check it out yourself! Beautiful Church. Took my grandma to their Sunday Mass while I was visiting. The priest gave some lovely homilies that he put a lot of heart into. The churchgoers were all pretty friendly. Hope I get to go again, someday! Beautiful Catholic Church. There’s a wonderful statue outside in the plaza. A good place to go pray. The service was wonderful and the people inviting
