What visitors say
The cathedral of Pomona. It is a diamond of spiritual fortitude in the heart of a city in need. Beautiful location and many services available in various languages, including Latin. This beautiful Catholic Church has been the stunning backdrop for two baptisms I've had the good fortune to photograph. It's an excellent venue for religious celebrations, including weddings, offering a magnificent setting for impactful photos. Community is vibrant. English, Spanish and Arabic Masses on Sunday. St. Vincent de Paul society helps those in need with clothes, food, and aide. Five days a week. Tri-city is usually there on Fridays. Very friendly service. They really care about their community. Great church. This is a very special parish. I attended mass here back in April and it was probably the highlight of my trip. The church was packed to the brim, they have a phenomenal choir that does several Latin chants, mass was ad orientem, and communion was distributed exclusively on the tongue at the communion rail. I am from Northeast, Ohio and was in the area on vacation and the parishioners and ushers were so welcoming and some of the nicest people ever. I hope to make it back to this parish for mass again someday. Amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this parish for people who live in the area or if they are visiting from out of town. God bless.
