What visitors say
Plain and simple a wonderful and welcoming church. The parking can get full but there’s always a space waiting. The church itself is quite large, the young man I’ve seen play piano and sings leads a beautiful song throughout the service. It’s simple and no fuss and a variety of members- all races sizes of families and even a lot of single people with friendly faces. I really enjoy their flyer they give On my quest to attend mass in all of the San Diego County Catholic Churches I found another welcoming place to talk to God. The environment is a good place to go to pray and give thanks to our Lord and Savior. I want to visit this church because it is near me. Google always say it is open till 4:30pm but when I get there it is always close. Going around the church to check for an open door just in case but none. Malls, casino, shopping centers are open everywhere but why this kind of establishment is not? Church seeks truth but the ads in google does not. So disappointed! Its a little silly to rate a house God ( a catholic temple) no matter what your experience is with a particular building of the church please do not leave the true church of Christ. Sometimes people within the church are not the friendliest for they are human , but do you walk away from the place that gives you the true body of Christ? I will never. I heard of the outreach for food so I went to the building on Alvarado and was treated terribly. I committed the horrible sin of standing near the door instead of further away, even though it was my first time there and I was just seeking help, not disrespect. Stay away from this place and people who disrespect homeless individuals while claiming to "help" them.
