Now most might think three stars is average, but three stars are actually really good. This is a great Church to fill a seat. They have thousands of people but not many people to help in the food market or serve. Why? Because they have 0 discipleship. You can’t expect people to step into a place and expect so much out of them when you’re they’re not given the tools. They have a great outreach for the community and always helping others. They have great Biblical teaching. Don’t expect to be mentored here, with that being said, if you’re looking to meet other families and join a small group then this is the place for If you’re looking to go deeper in your faith and get discipleship, this is not the place for you. It all depends what you want out of it. I have been attending since just before the pandemic. Great Church, every Church is not for everyone. They talk a lot about discipleship, but there’s no discipleship, they push you to a small group in which is understandable because it’s so big. I keep hearing the word discipleship, no where to be found. I keep seeing responses from the Church that say there is discipleship, but Im not sure if one is understanding of what discipleship is. Absolutely amazing Church! I love it here. I went to this church several years ago, but they changed their name. I found it again and it truly is a special place. I love the worship and sound word. PASTOR John is so solid and down to earth. His wife is so sweet and kind. I met her one day after church with her mother. She introduced me to their daughter. I didn't even know she was the pastors wife. They were also so kind and loving towards my kids and I. On most Saturdays, my son ♂️ and I plus ➕ other volunteers set up, serve and clean 🫧 up the farmer's market aka food bank at the Bay Church 💒 for anyone in need. Come one Saturday or attend regularly. Stop 🛑 by and get yourself some free groceries 🛍️. Go on the church 💒 website under "Compassion" to get registered. If don't have access to the internet 🛜, come 🫴 at 10 am on Saturdays and we'll sign you up. You can also volunteer to set up (10 a.m. to 12:30 pm) or serve the participants who come select from various sections: produce 🥕 🍇 🌽, dry goods 🥣 🥜, meats & eggs 🥚 🍖, bread 🍞, desserts 🍰 🍪, flowers 💐, berries 🍒 🍓 🫐, potatoes/onions,🥔 🍠 🧅 and chilled/frozen foods 🥛 🧀📺 🍽️ (12:30-3:30 pm). Please 🙏 bring your own bags 🛍️. Carts 🛒 are supplied as is help loading up 🚗 your groceries 🛍️. Come 🫴 and get blessed 🙏 either way: volunteer or get something to eat. You can't beat fellowship 🤗 like this! I remember going to this church every other Friday, when they used to host this event called the spot
