What visitors say
On March 2, 2014, I was baptized at the Church of Christ in Costa Mesa. I am so grateful at the age of 64 to have done that. (Actually, one should say "eternally" grateful!) This congregation is the most unpretentious and loving group I could imagine, and they are like 'family' not only in Christ, but personally too. Our minister, John Begin, is a very easy man to talk with and he's gone extremely out of his way to counsel and help me. Please join us for an embracing and non-judgemental experience. And most important, if you haven't been baptized, do it. We all want to see you in Heaven! Great place for Tuesday's meals and taking a shower. The man who runs the showers there us a but surely, but has a good heart. Just doesn't have much patience for new ppl. The map directions will often try to bring you to the gate off of Avocado, but that gate is closed. It is best to enter from the gate off of Wilson. Wonderful people who go above and beyond to help those less fortunate. They have a daily food pantry, community dinner once a week, and showers twice a week for the homeless. This is a small, very friendly, warm church which preaches the WORD. If you are looking for entertainment this church is not for you but if you are looking for a church that preaches from the Bible, this is where you want to go!!!
