People there are very friendly. It is a service oriented church. Everyone is very kind and friendly and for a group of older people, they can be quite forward thinking. Pastor Matt has an old-fashioned style, but he has a modern understanding of theology and how to lead a church. As a queer person, I feel very safe going here. This church is friendly and welcoming. I have been a member since 2000. I would recommed this chuch to all ages. I’ve been with Mesa Verde UMC for 26 years. This is my church family. They’ve watched me grow, helped me raise my kids, loved us through many of life’s challenges and celebrated all of our accomplishments. We are a Reconciling Ministry Church and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday. This is a very friendly, welcoming church. The service is engaging. Pastor Brent has great insight into the bible and how Jesus' teachings apply to our personal lives. Missions and teaching Christian virtues to kids are priorities. We were members of this church back when Bill Steele was minister. We loved it. Very friendly and when we moved out of State we missed our church family very much. It was great to visit recently.
