We were just passing through and decided to stop at this church. Very kind and welcoming. They had a separate place for our 7 year old daughter to go to. Music was great and the sermon was fantastic. Highly recommended. Worship music is amazing everyone is welcomed and the sermon is always touching I love the warm intimate environment of this church feels like family South Hills Church is an incredible place to experience God’s presence. From the moment you walk in, you can feel God is with us. 🙌 The worship is powerful 🎶 and touches your heart in ways words can’t describe. Worship twice a day—when you feel like it and when you don’t—because God deserves our praise in every season. 🙏✨ They’ve got an awesome kids' section 🎉 and a growing teens' group too! 👧🧑🎓 Perfect for the whole family. ❤️ If you’re looking for faith, connection, and community, South Hills Church is the place to be! ⛪🌟 My family and I have been coming to this church since 2018 (that was when we were meeting at Ensign Jr. High) and then we moved away in 2019 and after that the pandemic hit. We tried several churches in our area (Irvine) and nothing compared. We started coming back in person in September of 2022 and lo and behold the church moved WAY closer to us! So now instead of schlepping down the fwy and all the way across Costa Mesa, it's now a matter of a few fwy exits! When we came back I was really looking for a sense of community, so I joined a small group and it was (and still is) an instant family vibe. We still walk out life together and we are all family. We recently went through a lot because there was a shift in leadership, but for me, as long as I have an opportunity to learn, grow and praise the Lord on Sunday and do life with my group and as long as there continues to be amazing childcare I'M IN!!!! This is a GREAT church for many reasons. First, they follow the word of God, they are a nondenominational church - no religion. They truly care about everyone that walk through their doors. One if the most exciting things about this church is we are committed to tithe, as the Bible says. For 90 days. Pastor Moses says if anyone's life isn't blessed, that HE WILL PERSONALLY PAY YOU BACK EVERY PENNY YOU TITHED!! THERE ARE SO MANY FUN EVENTS HAPPENING THERE. I AM happy to say that I fit at South Hills Church- Costa Mesa. Pamela Lafferman
