I don’t know why people can’t rate church openly and transparently just like how they rate clinic & doctors, so will start from myself! And I encourage you too!! I’ve been to CCIC Cupertino for 5+ years (serving here also) and have a mixed feeling for it. Pros: 1. kind people. They are mostly first-generation immigrants from China mainland and Taiwan, high education background. This place is also very close to Apple campus, you will find some apple employees here 2. Traditional and bible-oriented. This church is pretty traditional, they keep themselves away from Charismatic Christianity. No pastor, only elders. 3. Good children ministry. They have AWANA program every Friday, which is pretty popular. Cons: 1. Very conservative, almost rigid. For example, Sunday worship still uses old Hymn book (not changed for 20+ years) and you won’t see women on Sunday lectrum. 2. Not a lot of young people. This might be a general problem for bay area church, but this church is an outstanding example. Most of adults here are over 40, and church leaders are generally over 50. Need to think deeply about why. As a Christian, i think to find the right church ultimately is to pray through God. That I will leave to you:) Full stars.... Bible oriented. Really good program for kids: Awana. Come and see. Traditional and conservative church, Bible oriented and very solid fundamentals, won't lead you astray theologically. The place with love and nice people, be with God from young to senior Love it.
