What visitors say

From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with genuine kindness and warmth. The biblical teaching is both faithful to Scripture and relevant to everyday life, providing encouragement, wisdom, and spiritual growth each week. The worship services are focused on glorifying and honoring God and creating an atmosphere where people can truly connect with Him. The pastors, staff, and congregation genuinely care for one another and strive to live out their faith through service, compassion, and discipleship. We are so grateful to have found a congregation that is deeply committed to God's Word, prayer, fellowship, and outreach. The Rock church has strengthened our faith, encouraged our family, and provided a place where we feel valued, supported, loved, and spiritually nourished. We wholeheartedly recommend this church to anyone seeking a welcoming, Bible-believing community where Christ is honored and lives are being transformed. Great place full of good people. Invited by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Was welcomed by Tom and Levi. Look forward to coming here again for Easter service. I grew up in India in a Sikh family and lived most of my life without a personal relationship with God. I went through many hardships, heartbreaks, health issues, and seasons of deep depression. Although I occasionally visited the Sikh temple, I never felt a true connection. Pride also played a big role in my life, and like many Sikhs, I believed strongly in my own understanding and that there were many paths to God. Years later, I owned an auto repair shop and hired a shop manager who happened to be a Christian. He never forced his faith on me, but he shared his testimony and spoke openly about Jesus. Around the same time, I reconnected with a childhood friend who was also Christian. She shared her testimony and asked me to pray with her to invite Jesus into my heart. At the time, I did it more to satisfy her, as I believed there were many ways to God and strongly disagreed that Jesus was the only way. I went back and forth for a long time. Eventually, I told my shop manager that I believed it was up to God to choose whatever path He wanted for me. He continued to speak about Jesus and shared John 3:16 with me, encouraging me to sincerely ask God to reveal the true path. So I prayed—not knowing what to expect—and asked God to show me the way. A day or two later, I had a vivid dream that I remember clearly. I saw myself standing in a dark valley at night. There was no moonlight, yet it was beautiful. I saw a light in the sky, at first thinking it was an airplane, but it kept growing larger and began to descend. Slowly, it took the form of a glowing being. Then I saw a man dressed in white descend and stand on a large rock bed. I recognized Him immediately—it was Jesus of Nazareth. He did not speak out loud, yet He answered my thoughts. When I realized who He was, He said, “I am glad that you recognize Me.” I tried to wake myself, thinking it was just a dream, but His presence was overwhelming. I fell at His feet and noticed there was so much blood. Without speaking, He answered my thoughts again and said, “I did this for you.” I began to weep. He lifted me up, pulled me onto the rock where He stood, and embraced me. I felt completely unworthy to be that close to Him, yet He still held me. Again, without words, He said that I had doubted. In that moment, I replied from my heart, “Not anymore, my King.” For the first time in my life, I called Him my King and my Lord. I woke up with tears in my eyes. The next morning, I went to work filled with joy and excitement to share what had happened. Before I could say anything, my shop manager told me he needed to speak with me first. He explained that a new customer had come in that morning and specifically asked him to tell me to go to The Rock Church in Danville, California. That Sunday, I went to The Rock Church by myself. From that moment on, I knew Jesus Himself had led me there. My family did not understand at first, but over time my wife and both of my daughters began attending The Rock Church regularly as well. The Rock Church has been a place of healing, truth, and spiritual growth for me and my family. I am forever grateful for this church and for the way Jesus completely transformed my life. If you are searching for truth, hope, or a real encounter with Jesus, I truly recommend The Rock Church in Danville, CA I haven't had a chance to attend yet, but there have been these 2 lady's that come by to see me at my work, and they make me feel re-energized with life! They are amazing! Thank you so so much!!! 🤗 My husband and i experienced church hurt here. We came in for pre-marriage counseling, and a somewhat touchy, controversial subject came up. Instead of working through it with us and helping us understand the Biblical stance on the issue, we recieved a text after we left saying that he will no longer be seeing us for pre marriage counseling. We were shocked that a pre marriage counselor would drop a struggling couple in need like that. Isn't that the whole point of counseling? Hard topics come up and the counselor is supposed to be prepared to help you through it? Never felt the same about this church after that.
