Great congregation! Very friendly, accepting, inclusive and caring staff. Fun events and activities for members to socialize and interact with each other. Great sermons that are relevant to what's going on in the world and are relatable and useful for every day application. In my times visiting FBC as a newcomer, I've been quite impressed at how welcoming people have been. The community seems to be strong in the basic, but important acts of welcome: remembering my name, what I do, and connecting me with others in the congregation who have similar interests. I've not been around long enough yet to see how deeply that inclination goes, but even these basics make it easier being a visitor. Definitely worth getting to know this community. FBC is a community tailored by the love of Christ. We can see the care and passion for the scriptures within each ministry’s department. It’s been only three months since my family and I started attending the services, and even though we come from Brazil, we didn’t feel much difference from the church we used to attend for the last 15 years back in our country. I guess this is what defines the body of Christ: regardless of cultural differences, as the language of Jesus is love, this love is the same anywhere, and this is what makes us bond. I recommend FBC for its inclusive and respectful environment, but above all, for its bible centered view and teachings. FBC Davis is a great church to worship! The worship sessions are highly uplifting. The sermons are awesome. My family and I call this place our Home Church. I'm glad we could connect with this amazing community of God's people. Whether you are new to the Christian faith, still searching to understand it, or have practiced your faith for years, FBC is a welcoming home church in which to continue your journey. I have been worshiping, learning, and making friends at FBC for about 14 years. Like any family, we have our struggles from time to time, but I have come to respect the leadership at this church in how they guide us all to continue to grow in our relationship with God and one another. I highly recommend visiting and/or making this church your home church.
