Today I went to church after 17 years. “This church is truly something special. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, love, and genuine spirit of the people. The pastor was absolutely amazing—authentic, heartfelt, and deeply inspiring. Nothing felt forced or rehearsed; it was real, honest, and moving. The message spoke right to the heart, and you leave feeling uplifted, encouraged, and closer to God. So grateful to have experienced such a beautiful and welcoming place.” I recently photographed a wedding at District Church and it was absolutely beautiful! The vineyard provided a great backdrop to their outdoor wedding ceremony on the lawn. There was plenty of space for their reception and a perfect, paved spot for dancing right by the building. Although I have not gone to a service at this church, I met a lot of guests who attend and they were all extremely kind and treated me well. What a perfect spot to get married! I hadn’t gone to church in quite some time. My husband and I were invited by a neighbor friend to join on a Sunday for a service. We gladly accepted the invite as we were wanting to find a church that we could call home. The Sunday rolled around and we went to the 10 am service and our 3 kiddos went into the kids service. It was amazing! The pastor was incredible! We felt right at home! We quickly realized how much we love this church. Two years later and our family being baptized there we have only grown so much more fond of District and the entire team! All the pastors are great! The worship team are amazing! All in all a great atmosphere! If you’re looking for a church that the people are nice, the environment is comfortable, you don’t feel awkward, and is more than just a Sunday service then I’d say this is the place for you! Attended for the first time today and was appalled by the comment the pastor made against trans people. Church should be a place of welcoming and acceptance, not judgement against others. I won’t be back. Some friends of ours invited us to church at District on Easter in 2024 and we found our home! This place is amazing in so many ways. Community based, relaxed environment, they bring the Bible into everyday life which for us is super important coming from a catholic church where that doesn't seem to happen as much. All the staff are very welcoming, the music is great, just can't say enough about this church! It has brought my wife and I back to church regularly but also brought us closer to God on a daily basis. Thanks to Stephanie and Patrick Norville, we will be a part of District for as long as we live here.
