What visitors say
We attended Lifepointe for years before moving away. The biblical teaching is solid, practical, and always points back to God's Word. The people are welcoming, and the church has a genuine heart for serving others. If you're looking for a church that teaches Scripture faithfully and helps you grow in your faith, I highly recommend LifePointe Church. Lifepointe is a place where you can go to church as you are. It's a place where all people are welcome. The Sunday morning worship and the Message are phenomenal. The children's ministry and youth group are amazing! We often spend time at dinner talking with our kids about what they learned at Lifepointe. All of our children have made some incredible friends. My wife and I have made lifelong friends that continue to positivity influence our lives and supported our family in so many ways. There are so many things outside of Sunday mornings for singles, couples and families to be a part of. My wife and I have been attending LifePointe Christian Church since 2016, and from day one, we felt welcomed. This is a church that truly embraces people as they are while encouraging everyone to grow in their faith. The atmosphere is warm, and the people are genuine. The messages are biblical, thought-provoking, and relevant to everyday life. Pastor Chris and the leadership team do an incredible job of challenging and encouraging us in our spiritual journey. The worship music is uplifting, and the children's and youth ministries are fantastic—engaging, fun, and Christ-centered. LifePointe is a healthy, thriving church that is perfect for families, individuals, and anyone looking for a place to belong. If you're searching for a church to call home, one that will help you grow spiritually and connect with a loving community, I highly encourage you to check out one of the three Sunday services. You can even sign up for a tour to get a feel for what LifePointe is all about. We love this church, and we think you will too! Me and my 3 year old son came here for the first time. We got great front row parking and walked in excited to try a new church. Right when you walk in, it’s very overwhelming. Kids screaming, running around and everyone talking so loudly over eachother in the small room in the front. Parents weren’t paying attention at all to their kids. I noticed four kids maybe around 12 years old. 3 kids were white and one was African American. The African American kid said to the other kids, “Can you please stop making the racist jokes to me, they’re getting really old.” That made me honestly really sad that parents aren’t paying close enough attention to notice the kids were bullying the other kids. They all just atood in groups as the young teens ran around the place. I wanted to bring my son to the daycare, i checked in him and we walked upstairs. Kids running up and down the stairs and down the hallways where the childcare was. My son was so overwhelmed he gripped me so tight and didn’t wanna join (even though later we got an email saying it was nice having him in the daycare which was a nice gesture, but he didn’t go in) Lastly, before service we walked downstairs and I saw the coffee, I walked over and more kids around 12 were all hanging out around the coffee machines. They offered a variety of syrups and the kids were just pumping all of them into their cups. A mom walked over and started to talk to them laughing saying she told them not to get coffee but it was too late and she didn’t really care, as I stood behind still waiting for my turn she looked at me and continued to talk to them. I asked if I could please get a cup, and they finally moved over and then two gentlemen walked right in front of me again. I felt invisible in this place. The people attending here were completely rude. Between the last of parenting, the bullying (racist jokes being said), the overwhelming feeling of kids running around, the rudeness of the adults that attend here, unfortunately we won’t be back. I want the church we attend to feel comfortable, the people attending to feel welcoming and nice, almost like a family. The two staff members I spoke to were very friendly but because of everything else is the reason for the low review. We joined Lifepointe 2 years ago and from day 1 it felt like home. Pastor Derek took the time to show me around and made me feel welcome and valued. We really enjoy Pastor Chris's sermons and worship. As parents of 5 with kids ranging at that time from 2 years old through 17 years old it was very important, if not the most important thing, that our kids loved the church as well. Our kids love their classes and count the days until church each week. There are many activities for all ages to get involved in which is a huge bonus. Our family is glad to have found our forever church home.
