Great church in Encinitas great worship. The people are really friendly. And the pastor is doing a good job running the services! We felt very welcomed. If you’re looking for a church to come this Sunday, please come! If you love Pastor David Jeremiah's solid Biblical teaching, but you prefer a smaller congregation, this is your place. This body of believers will welcome you and you will love them. It is a place to plug in and belong. There are weekly activities to be part of. The worship style is a mixture of both classic hymns and new songs. Plus, you can see the ocean from the parking lot! Reverend Adam greeted us at the entryway even before I finished my coffee and donut. Lots of smiley and friendly people will welcome you and make you feel at home. This place has such a sweet, sincere spirit; warm welcoming atmosphere & truly caring people! Nice to have the benefits of both a large church and a small church at the same time without the general challenges normally based on church size...The best of both worlds! Under the leadership of Dr. David Jeremiah and the campus Pastor Robert Pedroza this is a great choice for a place to grow & go to enjoy worship each week! I hope to see you there soon...Look for me & say, "Hi"! Arrive by 10:15 or so on Sundays to mingle & enjoy well known local treats from VG Doughnuts and Bird Rock Coffee! I’ve been going to this church recently and it’s been such a refreshing experience. It’s a satellite location of Shadow Mountain Community Church, which has its main campus in El Cajon — a solid 30-minute drive from where I live in Del Mar. So having this Encinitas location makes it a lot more accessible, and I’m really grateful for it. The environment is incredibly peaceful. They don’t use bright overhead lights — instead, natural sunlight fills the main room, giving the space a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Every Sunday, Pastor David Jeremiah appears on the screen with a sermon that’s clear, powerful, and easy to connect with. His ability to break down and communicate God’s word in such a simple, yet profound way is something I really appreciate. They also provide printed notes each week, which makes it easier to follow along and reflect afterward. Everyone at this location is welcoming and kind — including the local pastor, who brings a warm and positive energy to the space. There’s fresh coffee and donuts available every time I go, which just adds to the comfort and sense of community. It’s a great place to show up just as you are, relax, and spend time growing in your faith.
