What visitors say
A beautiful majestic church in downtown Anaheim. Stain-glass windows tall steeple with active bells and masses at various times in English and Spanish make this a go to church in Anaheim. Parish School closed many years ago. ✝️⛪️ St. Boniface Catholic Church is truly a beautiful and reverent place of worship. The church itself is stunning—so old, artistic, and rich in character inside. The Nativity scene was especially beautiful and thoughtfully displayed, adding so much meaning and joy to the Christmas celebration. Parking was plentiful and very convenient, which made attending Mass stress-free. I was also very happy that they offered a 5:00 PM Christmas Mass—it made it possible for our family to attend without rushing. A wonderful parish with a sacred atmosphere. Highly recommended, especially during the Christmas season. Wonderful little Parish I visited while going to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim california. I decided to come to this place and I found completed inner peace and Tranquility as I prayed my rosary. My wife and son were at the beach this day and I figured I would go around town and see what was outside of Disneyland and I found this nice little Parish clean well lit and open for prayers. People say it's not a nice neighborhood but personally where I've lived in Pennsylvania and Kansas supposedly they were not so great neighborhoods either. I believe this is a Working Class People and this is a working class person's Church like the kind of Catholic churches I attended and Pennsylvania and Kansas. Great little Parish wish I would have had time to come to a service but they were either early in the morning or they were later ones and it took me an hour to walk up there because I did not have a vehicle to drive. If I come back to Anaheim I would like to attend a mass great warm feeling and my beautiful cathedral I would come here again! My family and I attended mass yesterday at 6:30 pm. This mass was in Spanish. Growing up in Anaheim, my family was devoted Catholics. I even did my first communion at Saint Boniface. Fast forward 10 years and I live in the Los Angeles area. My grandmother still lives in Anaheim and I accompanied her to church. I was definitely disappointed. The priest talked about Politics and Trump. I don’t want to hear how much money Trump has/ spends. I don’t want to hear about church allegations. Twenty minutes talking about fundraisers. I want to hear about Our Lord and Savior. Priest needs to work on his approach to his audience and having a more welcoming attitude. Also, the echoing in this building is horrible. This church needs to find ways to reduce echoing in the building, you can’t even understand half of the mass. Visited Anaheim and attended mass 6:30 am Sunday mass. I had a nice experience.
