What visitors say
We love Good Shepherd! We came to this church 4 years ago and experienced amazing hospitality from the staff. Great pastors with shepherd's hearts who truly care for the people and preach realistic, authentic, and applicable sermons that speak God's truth, love, and grace. The congregation has a big heart for the local community and overseas (mission outreach). The best preschool in Irvine! And the only church that emphasizes spiritual formation in discipleship! If you are looking to grow your Christian faith and find a sense of community, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is the place for you. I have been a member since 2013 and enjoy attending the traditional service at 8:00 am. Our church hosts programs such as Rooted, Invitation to a Journey, and various Bible studies that help me learn about and deepen my faith. I also enjoy developing friendships both within my Life Group and by attending church sponsored social events. The 8am traditional service is truly inspiring with choir, organ and a faith based message. It’s the perfect way to start my week. The community at Good Shepherd is tremendous and heartfelt. I love the various local and global Outreach programs and the opportunities to serve those with specific needs. This is a great church for families as well as couples. Very welcoming and lots of great activities and a great choir! Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has been out church home for 23 years. Our pastor Tom, his messages, global missions/local outreach, and the relationships we have made over the years makes this a special place.
