Solid Church with relevant and practical teaching based on Bible, serving the community around it. This is one of the legit and well balanced Christian churches in this area. They meet at Jeffrey Trail Middle School with a plan to acquire a building and move to a more permanent location near the Great Park in the near future. The Pastor's teaching is well grounded in the Bible and brings practical life applications. Members are mature Christians and are genuine. Ethnic make up of the congregation seems 60% Caucasians, 30% Asians, and 10% Others. I can recommend this church to anyone in this area looking for a rock solid, legitimate church that you can call a community church. I will post photos later. Absolutely love this church! From the moment we stepped on-site, people were so friendly, inviting, and welcoming. They live up to their name of creating an atmosphere of grace and life. We’ve easily gotten plugged in and serving on a team and love now getting to be a part of creating the same experience for guests. The teaching goes deep into the Bible and we feel like we leave each Sunday with a better understanding of God’s word and that Carrie’s throughout the week in our small groups. If you’re looking for a church that’s genuine, authentic, and relatable with an inviting and welcoming atmosphere, then this is the place where you belong! I have been recently attending Grace City Church, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. Pastor Stephen Kimbrell truly brings the Bible to life with his engaging and kind teaching style. He is incredibly approachable, making it easy to ask questions and delve deeper into the faith. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The community is warm and inviting, as if we were already friends. The staff ensured we had all the resources we needed as newcomers to the faith, which was a great touch. I appreciated how they distributed cards before the service to gauge our learning preferences and spiritual journeys. One of my favorite parts of the service was the music at the beginning. The heartfelt songs performed by church members really resonated with me, setting a meaningful tone for the worship. The sense of community at Grace City Church is truly special; it feels like a family. I’m grateful to have found such a supportive place. My kids also love attending—there are engaging programs for them, and they enjoy playing with their friends at church. Plus, there are plenty of community events that bring everyone together. Very genuine & caring community. We love the Sunday school for our kids! The pastor & family pastor are bible based and powerful preachers & the worship team is so good! Grace City has changed mine and my families life and we're so thankful to find this church in Irvine. They're about disciples making disciples and we have found life long friends here.
