I really enjoyed the Wednesday Bible study at Calvary Chapel Point Loma. The pastor went through the passage line by line, while also giving clear pointers about what the gospel was saying and highlighting the meaning behind specific verses. It was very educational and made the Scripture come alive in context. If you’re a new believer, I highly recommend this Bible study as a great way to get into the Word and build understanding. I will definitely be coming back! Pastor is very knowledgeable, and the crowd is kind and welcoming. Love worshipping Jesus here along with the congregation. Calvary Chapel teaches that all Jews who do not accept Jesus before they die or before His return will be condemned at the Final Judgment, no exceptions based on ancestry or covenant promises. That is not a side note; it is a central and unapologetic part of their message. Pastor Mike is kind and knowledgeable, Bible based church. Everyone is super friendly and they always have great activities and snacks after church. My family love it here! Good childrens ministry. This place is amazing! I love that everyone immediately treats you like family. God has truly blessed this place to feel like home!
