What visitors say
La Jolla Presbyterian is a wonderful church. It's very big and very welcoming and polite to guests. I recommend it for anyone who wants to visit or stay. It's a very friendly crowd and people are very supportive. It's clear that it's established itself from the top down as a family atmosphere as in one family for those who are there and who are members and who are not yet formally members. It's one big family. There are services at 8:45 10:00 and 11 a.m. on Sundays. I highly recommend this church. They also have delicious baked goods and coffee after each service and it's a beautiful building. Also they do enormous good in the world and the local community. Our pastors from Ebenezer we're being represented here I went to support and what a great bunch of people with a lot of resources for people in need Very nice Spanish style church/school. They were nice enough to offer me a vintage La Crosse 81 soda machine. I drove down from the Inland Empire to pick it up. They helped me load it and were just the nicest people. We love visiting this warm and welcoming congregation. Come early and take a few minutes to enjoy the stained glass windows. Sermons are biblically based, current, and always relevant. Choir and La Jolla Brass lift hearts to heaven. Wonderful, welcoming church with a great youth program. I prefer the early service to the later service with the singing. Try them both and see what works for you. The programs for young kids, MS kids and HS youth are exceptional.
