What visitors say
Wooooow! I was at the right place at the right time! Visiting San Diego, I found the church on google. Their head pastor, Patrick, was phenomenal. Jaw dropping with a DEEP bible study on Gen 34, Dinah's rape, titled "violence & vengeance". Paired with mention & prayer of Charlie Kirk's assassination 4 days ago and our mission as Christians. Thank you a well thought out, researched, well constructed sermon, expertly communicated, and connecting it to our reality today with heart. I appreciate being your guest. ❤️ P.S. Thank you for your website providing the change of address, so I didn't get lost. Services are 9 & 11am at University City High School. I visited with my sister, who is a member, yesterday. Worship is focused on the Lord and the Bible is preached with clarity. Thank you Pastor Patrick for staying true to the Word of God! Truly, Christian fellowship at It’s best I attended Lighthouse Bible Church for six years. I'm so thankful for the leaders and the members for constantly holding fast to the truth of the gospel! At the end of the six years, it was hard to leave the church. (I moved away to begin graduate school.) I definitely miss the teaching, fellowship, common heart for evangelism. I still look back with thankfulness and joy. Praise God for an awesome 6 years. I wouldn't have it any other way. I came to Lighthouse as an unbelieving college freshman who doubted God’s existence and dreaded going to church. Through listening to the Bible-focused Sunday sermons and interacting with other believers who truly love God and live for God, I learned what it means to be a follower of Christ, our Lord and Savior. Praise God for graciously saving me from my sins and transforming my unbelieving heart : )
