Wonderful church with wonderful people! I have been a Christian since I was a child and love the authenticity of Pastor Jason, who speaks the truth in love yet is not afraid to preach on hard topics and real life issues. It is not always what you want to hear, but always what you NEED to hear and in accordance with the word of God. Coast Hills Church has encouraged and strengthened me in my relationship with the Lord and started the healing process from my childhood and teenage years of legalistic teachings and misquoting of scripture (other church’s NOT Coast Hills). I love the focus at CHC on real and right relationships with God and with others. My family and I love Coast Hills Church and it has become our church “home.” You will get sound Biblical teaching and solid sermons that focus on leading you to look to the Lord and not the world for your eternal hope. I also love that the pastor is not afraid to speak the truth in love-not all roads lead to Heaven-Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. The pastor and church community are welcoming, real, and we love that it encourages us as believers to always be growing in our relationship with the Lord and with others. Love Coast Hills Church! If you seek solid Biblical teaching, friendly people and beautiful worship music, you will love it here! Pastor Jason's expository teaching of the Bible is amazing and sadly, so hard to find in South OC. I grew up with expository teaching, then switched to "seeker friendly" topical teaching and wow, my eyes were opened about the dangers of purely topical studies. I've learned so much more studying the Bible verse by verse again than I ever learned at churches who have the topical study model. Pastor Jason comes across as humble and very down to earth which is also important and rare, in my experience, for a senior pastor in South OC. I've prayed for about a decade that God would guide us to the right church and I finally feel like God has answered that prayer with Coast Hills Church. Come check it out, you will LOVE it! This is a family-friendly community church with energetic, contemporary worship, and Pastor Jason is an amazing teacher who likes to connect with the people. Great outreaches, children’s ministry, and fabulous women’s ministry too. Loving church. We love this body of believers and the Pastor- such awesome teaching. Pastor Jason picks a book and goes through verse by verse in an easy to understand but also a deep way (milk & meat and potatoes). Great children's program with super fun undersea murals and such warm teachers. Love the women's Bible study too! There's all kinds of support groups there as well (ie cancer care- which was a blessing in a lonely time).
