I’ve been attending this church for a few years, and it has been a really meaningful place for me. The preaching is one of the biggest reasons I stay—it’s consistently Bible-centered, thoughtful, and actually challenges me while still pointing clearly back to the gospel each week. The music is contemporary, but it feels genuine rather than performative, which makes it easier to focus on worship instead of just the experience. It’s a smaller church, and that’s honestly something I’ve come to value a lot. It’s easier to get to know people and feel like you’re part of a real community instead of just showing up on Sundays. I’ve felt welcomed and encouraged here. When I first moved from Utah to Irvine for my job, I felt pretty lost and was craving a church home where I could actually serve, feel apart of, and gain genuine friends that have a connection to Jesus. I stumbled on Spectrum Church through a quick Google search one Sunday morning, and man, it changed everything. From the second I walked in, the people greeted me like family, with genuine hugs and “we’re so glad you’re here!” What really hooked me were the service events they have lined up. You can just sign up with members of the church with whatever fits your schedule, and it’s been the perfect way for me to roll up my sleeves and work for the Lord like I’d been praying about. Their young adults group is awesome too, super fun hangouts, real conversations, and friends who actually check in on you. This church is soaked in the Holy Spirit, and the folks here are hands down some of the most loving, kind people I’ve ever met. It’s been such a blessing in my new chapter. From Pastor Gabe’s sermons, to wonderful worship music, and Sunday School, it has gone beyond meeting our families needs. The relationships and love I feel from and for the congregation is a treasure to me. Every week I look forward to being there with “family”. Thank you, Lord for directing us to Your church! I moved to Irvine from Los Angeles not really wanting to be here and not knowing anyone. I found Spectrum Church online and decided to give it a try. From my very first Sunday, people actually took the time to get to know me not just small talk, but real connection. A month later, I had surgery and didn’t have family nearby, and this church prayed for me, checked in, and remembered my name. That meant so much. Spectrum isn’t just a place to go on Sundays it’s a community that truly loves God and cares for people. I’m really thankful I found this church. I have faithfully attended several great churches in my life. Spectrum Church Irvine is the one I attend now and absolutely love! Our pastor, Gabe Fung, is not only extremely knowledgeable, he is also an excellent writer and speaker!
