There used to be a Refrigerated Food bank in the back oF this place! Where you could pick up Food at your own convenience, what I don’t understand is why they decided to get rid oF this, Considering a lot oF people really relied on this For there daily Food, Supposedly From what I was told that apparently the people that operated it was a different group entirely From the church, which I don’t understand that at all. Because I was under the impression that they were connected with the church. So I’m a Little confused here?! The Fact is is that they Never should have gotten rid oF this, considering the Fact that there really is Not a lot oF services in that area that they give out Food Like that. Other than 2 churches and it’s only on certain days that they give out the Food! Which in My opinion is completely BS. Great people to whorship with here. They have tea after service where you can interact with the congregates. I was married in Hollywood Lutheran Church over 32 years ago. I've been attending services since then. When I was asked to be one of the assisting ministers, I found the courage through God to do so. Everyone is pleasant and non-judgmental. This church snd its people are my family. If your looking for a church that welcomes ALL people, you have found it. They don’t have any sacramental supper like mash potatoes and gravy or pork chops but Dr. Dan Drangle puts on a nice service praising Gord. Many 12 step meetings take place here. Be forewarned of the prickly, impatient Kiwi groundskrrper, who appears none too pleaded to having to be there at nighttime to lock up. So keep the noise down, don't smoke on the premises, and depart posthaste and tarry not.
